I read that Roy Orbison did not give permission for this song to be used in the movie "Blue Velvet". However, this surreal movie uses his song beautifully, and "Blue Velvet" remains one of my favorite films today.
I love the shades on the violin section, and the stage filled with amazing talent.

When I was boy Memorial Day was May 30th. It was the biggest parade of the year, and it was in memory of my Uncle Ray killed in the Philippine Islands.

Since then the day has changed, but the memory remains. I have added many more to my list of names, and I remember them today.
